Brian is a Registered Professional Surveyor and Licensed Cadastral Surveyor with over 20 years of experience in the surveying industry.  He is an active member of Survey + Spatial New Zealand (NZ Institute of Surveyors) and also the Consulting Surveyors of New Zealand.

 

He first tried his hand at land surveying whilst he was a secondary school student in Wanaka, and since that day he couldn’t imagine doing anything else.  He graduated with a Bachelor of Surveying (Distinction) from the University of Otago in 2003, and since then has gained experience across a range of projects and locations around New Zealand, from the high country of the South Island to inner city Auckland and many places in between.

 

Brian’s well balanced background gives him the experience to deal with surveys of any nature, from large and remote rural surveys, lifestyle block surveys, to suburban and inner city developments.  He is passionate about the science and art of surveying; in particular the implementation of streamlined processes and the latest technology to ensure efficiency and reliability of data for his clients.  He loves the balance of indoor and outdoor work, and seeing projects through from their inception to completion.  He is well respected by his peers, local authorities and other professionals for his professionalism and attention to detail.

 

Brian and his family relocated to the Manawatu in 2014 and have firmly put down their roots.  He enjoys being a part of local community and is a member of the Feilding Business Initiative.  He likes to spend his spare time with his family, running, mountain biking, or in his garage brewing up his latest hoppy creation!
